Now that you're done recording your Portfolio Introduction, and created a Portfolio Intro "Root Folder" (Forgot how? Click HERE!) on your Desktop, it's time to import your clips into Premiere through the Media Browser. This is Assignment #2 in the Blendspace Lesson, and is worth 5 points. Once you are finished, we'll move on to Assignment #3. Today's the last day (Tue. 9/8) to record your introduction during class. If you don't finish, you must complete the assignment during lunch or take equipment home. The class will be moving forward, downloading footage into Adobe Premiere and learning how to edit it.
Now, about the Intro.... Your recorded "Intro" should discuss what you wrote the other day: Why you're here, what you want to learn, what you want to create in the class, and any other interesting info about you (career interests, hobbies, etc). Keep your intro professional, but FUN! It shouldn't be more than 60 seconds long, MAXIMUM. Your intro will be evaluated on the following, for a total possible of 30 points: -- Stable, high-quality camera work, including composition. (5 Pts.) --Use of Videocamera, Cell Phone/Tablet, and Desktop Camera devices to create footage. (5 Pts.) -- Proper use of audio equipment/settings and lighting settings to create a professional-looking, professional-sounding recording. (5 Pts.) -- Your professional presentation during the Intro and ability to communicate. (5 Pts.) --Length of final edited introduction (60 seconds MAX). (5 Pts.) -- Inclusion of your responses to the 3 prompt questions. (5 Pts.) Make sure you're recording to the SD Card; we will download footage intoAdobe Premiere from the card.
