Follow directions for your Final Reflection and Final Portfolio HERE.
While I'm gone you will create your Final Portfolio Reflection Document in Google Docs. You will have Friday, Monday and Tuesday to assemble your Final Portfolio (2/3 of your Final Grade). Your Portfolio is due next Wednesday, May 18th. NO LATE PORTFOLIOS ACCEPTED. While you're working hard, I'll be like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEYUST6B7io Your completed Investigative Report will be Shared from iMovie as an .mov or .mp4 file, and must have (5 points each):
Hey, super quick---take this survey: https://goo.gl/9BSDLI
Instructions, if you need them: This survey has 10 questions for you to read and answer silently. Select a favorite teacher you have had this school year (2015-2016). For each question, you will read the question silently and choose the one answer that best explains your opinion. Your responses will help your teachers understand what they do well and how they may be able to improve. Your individual responses are private. Your teacher will never get to see your individual answers, only a class summary of the responses. Remember, when you answer the questions, your answers should only be about your opinions of your chosen teacher’s class and not about any other teacher or classroom. Your answers should be based upon how you feel about this class every day – not just how you feel today. We are scheduled to return all of your TV Broadcasting textbooks to the bookroom this Thursday, 4/21 during 5th period. Please bring all of your books that day; if you miss class or forget, it will be your responsibility to return the books on your own.
Seniors---Ignore everything below and go straight to the Final Portfolio Page to begin work.
Everyone else:
Before Green Team records their show today, everyone must complete a graded tutorial video assignment. When we are in the studio, Gold Team will finish their 5 interview questions and 3 resources, and assignment that is 1 week overdue.
When we all come back, you'll do the practice interview described at the bottom of the Investigative Report Page. We are starting our FINAL Rotation of the school year---hard to believe, right?
The big difference THIS time is that BOTH Green and Gold Team will work on the Show---the teams will take turns recording announcements. No more short reports for Green Team! This allows ALL of you plenty of time to work on your Investigative Report. Any time you are NOT recording with your team, you are working on your Report. Failure to do so will mean a 0 for the day. This also lets us record 2 shows during our long block periods while PARCC is going on. (1 "Gold" show and 1 "Green" show.) You may not apply for the same job you are currently working, but can apply for a job you have held before. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll get it, but it's worth a try! Follow the directions for Job Applications HERE. Interested in an Engineering career? Check out this AWESOME opportunity in Las Cruces this summer! Application deadline is March 31st!
