You've got 2 days to finish editing your Portfolio Introduction. See the previous post for your grading requirements. On Wednesday, I will demonstrate how to export your movie for submission as a grade. You will put your exported movie on your Google Drive and share a link to me.
Ready to Export? Click HERE for the Tutorial! Today's the last day (Tue. 9/8) to record your introduction during class. If you don't finish, you must complete the assignment during lunch or take equipment home. The class will be moving forward, downloading footage into iMovie and learning how to edit it.
Now, about the Intro.... Your recorded "Intro" should discuss what you wrote the other day: Why you're here, what you want to learn, what you want to create in the class, and any other interesting info about you (career interests, hobbies, etc). Keep your intro professional, but FUN! It shouldn't be more than 60 seconds long, MAXIMUM. Your intro will be evaluated on the following, for a total possible of 25 points: -- Stable, high-quality camera work, including composition. (5 Pts.) -- Proper use of audio and lighting settings to create a professional-looking, professional-sounding recording. (5 Pts.) -- Your professional presentation during the Intro and ability to communicate. (5 Pts.) --Length of final edited introduction (60 seconds MAX). (5 Pts.) -- Inclusion of your responses to the 3 prompt questions. (5 Pts.) Make sure you're recording to the SD Card; we will download footage into iMovie from the card.
