To complete this Assignment:
Exercise: News Analysis Scan the page of the newspaper you have been given. Choose an article (must be a news item, not opinion column, horoscopes, advice column or ads) that you will use to complete this activity. 1. What is the topic of the article? 2. Who are the key people involved in the story? 3. List 3 key details about the story that are addressed in the article. 4. Who is the author of the article? 5. How could you make this story interesting to your AHAHS audience? Describe two ways you could make this story local and relevant. I have made a few changes to the Job Rotation to reflect the addition of new students to the class. Go HERE to review the updated list before we get started today.
Transitions can be tough. Let's make sure we are all on the same page with responsibilities and expectations. Take a moment to review your new Job Assignment, including duties, HERE. Then, meet with your trainer (the person who did the job before you) for a quick "Show-and-Tell". Demonstrate your job process and explain it verbally; if they are satisfied that you are ready, they will "sign off" on your training. Then, we can get to work. Remember, this class gives us unique opportunities, but with that comes responsibility to stay on task and be professional.
